If you are in the business of food processing you are required to have a foot dip mat at the entrance into the processing area.  The goal is to disinfect the boot or shoe and kill the bacteria from the warehouse, street or office floor. Disinfectant mats are also used in commercial farms and animal shelters to remove the transfer of disease to and from animals.
 
Boot dip mats have walls to contain a disinfectant like our quaternary ammonium based sanitizer, Sanite 75 and thousands of rubber finger to scrape dirt and contaminates from the soles of the boot. 
 
Each entrance must have a boot dip / foot dip mat to meet the requirements of government regulations.  Because not every employee or guest will have boots on, we offer two different heights of mats.
 
The 7/8" tall mat will disinfect just the bottom of the shoe and is an excellent choice for people with street shoes that must enter the plant.   The correct mat for worker entrance into the processing area is the 2" high wall mat.
