Dutch Harbor, Alaska is located about half way down the Aleutian island chain on the island of Unalaska.
Dutch Harbor is the offloading and re-supply port for most fisheries in the Bering Sea. King crab, snow crab, pollock, herring, halibut, mackerel, sole, cod and ocean pearch to name a few are landed in this remote port town in frozen at sea boxes or fresh awaiting processing at the various shore plants. Hundreds of ships call this town home during the fishing seasons.
