Xtratuf® Boots are the number one choice in Alaska. Fisherman won't even consider any other brand because of the comfort, grip and how long they last. These folks work 16 hours and wear rubber boots for months at a time, so they got to be good. They are as comfortable to wear as your favorite pair of sneakers. You will never buy another brand after you wear them once.
Xtratuff boots have been called the Dutch Harbor dress shoe as they are accepted in every place of business on the island. They are so soft a pliable that it is common practice to fold them down in half and they fit underneath the leg of the jeans so it appears that you are wearing a pair of shoes instead of rubber boots.
-The hand layered triple dipped seamless neoprene creates the toughest waterproof boot we know of. It is also resistant to corrosives and acids.
-A smooth fabric lining makes this boot easy to put on and take off.
-Cushioned insoles for long lasting comfort.
-Soles have a special chevron tread for an excellent grip on slippery surfaces.
We sell the 16" high in the insulated and non-insulated version. If you work in colder areas the insulated boot is only slightly thicker and still very flexible. These are not an overboot, so they are worn without shoes. We only have 1st run new, not factory seconds.
**** Size listed are in men's. These boots run a little large, to allow for adding a boot sock, felt insole or wearing multiple thick socks. If you wear a half size, go down a size if you won't be using a boot sock insert. Every pair of 11's sold that were for guys that have 10-1/2's were exchanged for 10's. ****
